MARK TWAIN CAVE
& CAVE VILLAGE
Mark Twain wrote," No man
knew the cave; that was an impossible thing. Most of the young men knew a
portion of it, and it was not customary to venture beyond the known portion. Tom
Sawyer knew as much of the cave as anyone." ( From The Adventures of
Tom Sawyer.) An experienced guide will escort you on a one-hour tour
featuring points of interest mentioned in Mark Twain's writings, and made more
enjoyable by the latest techniques in cave lighting. Walkways are level, and
smooth and there are no steps. Persons of any age can easily make the tour.
