BULL SHOALS CAVERNS
MOUNTAIN VILLAGE 1890
Two attractions at the same location. Bull Shoals Caverns is 350,000 years old as determined by carbon tests. This is a guided tour leaving every half hour, and takes 45 to 50 minutes. Indians lived in the cave as well as Confederate soldiers, who made gunpowder from the clay in the cave. It is the site of the Skirmish at Bull Shoals.
